We had such a fun time photographing all the amazing details at Jeni and Bill’s wedding at the Leo Carillo Ranch. The adorable wedding flowers by Adrianne Smith, principal florist of Adrianne Smith Floral Design, were so exquisite and abloom with color that we felt the need to highlight them here at Anthologie Weddings. The flowers were simply exquisite and abloom with color, just perfect for this springtime wedding. Adrianne Smith never ceases to amaze; her designs, like the designer herself, are delightful, playful and just plain fabulous. Feast your eyes! Photography by Theorie.

I think we picked the most creative fun vendors to work with.
What a blast!
Located on the beautiful campus of the University of San Diego, The Immaculata is one of San Diego’s amazing architectural landmarks and perhaps its most well known Catholic wedding venue. Reminiscent of the great Gothic cathedrals of Europe, The Immaculata features a cruciform footprint, a barrel-vaulted ceiling, side chapels off the main nave, a beautiful sanctuary dome adorned with a statue of Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception, and a bell tower topped by a 300-pound cross. This year marks the 50th anniversary of the Catholic parish. Originally dedicated in 1959 as the main chapel for USD, today the church is administered by the diocese, and parishioners and non-parishioners alike are welcome and encouraged to have their wedding at The Immaculata. While either the bride or the groom needs to have been baptized Catholic in order to be married there, no affiliation with the University of San Diego is required. Inside and out The Immaculata features beautiful and colorful details of architecture and design, including delicately designed stained-glass clerestory windows, sculptural elements adorning the facade and an impressive baldachino over the altar. The Immaculata is a breathtaking reminder of the sacred and an altogether wonderful wedding venue. Nestled on quaint Olivetas Avenue just a couple blocks from the ocean, The Darlington House is one of La Jolla’s hidden wedding gems.
