Modern + Vintage Engagement Photos by Betwixt Studio

San Diego wedding photographers Amy and Maurice Wright of Betwixt Studio shared this adorable modern and vintage engagement session of the sweet Evelyn and Steve. This lovely couple will be getting married this spring at the very chic and modern Long Beach wedding venue, the Museum of Latin American Art (MoLAA). We love the bright and modern colors that Evelyn incorporated into their engagement session … their wedding colors Red and Gray! Such a cool combination! This couple really put some thought into preparing for their engagement session with Betwixt Studio. Evelyn designed the t-shirt that Steve is wearing, which says “I’m Marrying Her”. Super adorable! And they coordinated their outfits. Love. Is. Sweet. We love the fun little thoughts painted onto the parking spaces that Amy and Maurice creatively incorporated into the couple’s photos. Shoes are always a perfect way to add some personality to your wedding. Steve is wearing the Converse All Stars that he and his groomsmen will be wearing for the wedding. Valentine’s Day Inspiration by Betwixt Studio

San Diego wedding photographers, Amy and Maurice Wright, of Betwixt Studio, were featured on the popular wedding blog, Style Unveiled with this Valentine’s Day Inspiration shoot. How adorable is their bride in her Christos gown from Del Mar wedding boutique, Bliss Bride? The LOVE-ly heart shaped rose flower pillows were lovingly created by Sharon Mintz, San Diego wedding florist, owner of Organic Elements. And Colleen’s hair and makeup was expertly applied by San Diego makeup and hair stylist Jennifer Bueno of Beauty to Be. Amy and Maurice got their inspiration from Colleen’s Anthropologie inspired wedding at The Darlington House, and collaborated to create a sweet and whimsical collection of images just in time for the most romantic day of the year. Darlington House Wedding with Anthropologie Inspiration by Betwixt Studio

San Diego wedding photographers Amy and Maurice Wright share a sweet Anthropologie inspired wedding at the La Jolla wedding location, The Darlington House. “When Colleen and Eric described their wedding as having an Anthropologie inspiration, we were so excited and honored to get to work with them!”, says Amy Wright, owner of San Diego wedding photography studio Betwixt Studio. “I admit that I have a bit of an Anthropologie obsession. I can’t get enough of that store. I can definitely see why a bride would be inspired to include pretty details and charming personal elements into her wedding after spending some time there,” admits Amy : ) Betwixt Studio is known for their modern and creative approach to weddings. “The Darlington House is one of our favorite La Jolla wedding locations. It has so much charm and is the perfect location for an intimate celebration with friends and family.”

Colleen’s strapless dress by Christos, from Bliss Bride in Del Mar, set the tone of the wedding with its sweet little sash and flower and bow detail, lace and flowing layers. Colleen’s bridesmaids wore Anthropologie dresses, and each wore their own shoes. You might recognize Colleen’s twin sister’s Vivienne Westwood heart shoes from the recent Valentine’s Day Inspiration shoot with Colleen, also photographed by Betwixt Studio. The reception was full of delightful details collected by the bride over her two year engagement. Books, delicate little vases, candlesticks, chalkboards, and a framed mirror combined to create a festive and adorable reception for guests. The bride’s mother lovingly crocheted individual flowers for each guest … adorable! The bridesmaids’ contrasting purple, orange and red bouquets stand out brilliantly against the pale peaches, greens, yellows and creams of the bride’s bouquet. The florals were expertly crafted by San Diego florist, Organic Elements.

Vintage Engagement Photos in San Diego by Betwixt Studio

San Diego wedding photographers Betwixt Studio share a vintage and romantic San Diego engagement session with two adorable high school sweethearts, Elesha and Ron, who will be getting married this year at Temecula wedding location, Ponte Winery. When planning their engagement session with Betwixt Studio, Elesha and Ron put a lot of time and thought into planning ahead of time, even organizing the appearance of a vintage 1938 Buick. “We always love being able to create a session that captures just what the couple is looking for.” says Amy Wright of Betwixt Studio. “We like to work with each couple to customize the look and locations of their engagement session so that the images will really reflect who the couple is.
